We are thrilled to announce that Kyle Casey has been selected as Westbrook Regional Vocational Center’s Maine Administrators of Career & Technical Education (MACTE) Student of the Year!
Kyle was chosen to represent WRVC for his exceptional work ethic, natural leadership, and positive energy. A dedicated student in the Heavy Equipment Operation program, Kyle has gone above and beyond in his commitment to career and technical education. His goals include becoming a registered Maine Guide and continuing his journey at the Mechanized Logging Operations and Forest Trucking Program after graduation.
Out of students across the state, Kyle is one of just 27 awardees honored with this distinction. He received a $1,000 scholarship from the Maine Blue Collar Scholarship Foundation, a meaningful recognition of his hard work and promise.
Kyle has made a lasting impact on the WRVC community, and we couldn’t be prouder of his accomplishments.
A heartfelt thank-you to MACTE and the Maine Blue Collar Scholarship Foundation for celebrating the trades and supporting remarkable CTE students like Kyle!
