Westbrook Middle School

This year our students are doing "I-Time" and U-Time" lessons in their classes.  These activities are supported by our BARR (Building Assets Reducing Risks) program.  Students engage with their teachers in learning a wide variety of important personal and interpersonal skills.  Here you'll see Ms. Fries'  Math class doing the Callers and Crabs I-time activity.  This activity focuses on improving communication skills to learn to work as a team and be dependent on directions from others to accomplish a goal.  Check out this link for more information about BARR.
