On Friday, our seniors, the Class of 2027, celebrated the last day of Homecoming Week by inviting our Kindergarteners, the Class of 2039, to historic Olmstead Field at WHS for the annual Meet at the Fifty event. It is an annual tradition where the present meets the future - the classes of 2027 and 2039 - to celebrate our Westbrook school community. Seniors presented the kindergarteners with a special t-shirt and they enjoyed talking with each other for a few moments. Seniors also reconnected with their kindergarten teachers who were so proud of them! There were lots of smiles, beaming with Westbrook pride, from all of our students as well as several alumni, families, school staff, and other guests. The WHS Band also provided music at the pep-rally style event. Thank you to Athletic and Activities Director Mark Campbell for organizing this special day. Thanks also to our Transportation Director Melissa Foye and our elementary principals and kindergarten staff for making the celebration possible. This event is a true Westbrook Point of Pride!
